Raheja Developers Is in the Forefront of Delhi’s Development

Delhi, as much as it boasts of being home to the plushest residential projects and swanky living is also home to a staggering number of slums and slum dwellers. In order to tackle this dilemma, the civic authorities have been partnering with various real estate developers to ideate a practical solution and ways to implement change for making the city slum-free.

For years the effort has been going on to achieve this goal, but it hasn’t been possible until recently. The civic authority partnered with Raheja Developers limited, one of the countries premium estate developers to revamp the Kathputli colony, home to musicians, craftsmen, singers, artists, and performers. The group of builders has been anchoring the project toward bringing quality living and shaping a better city.

Raheja Developers Review

Raheja Developers have recently signed a Public Private Partnership (PPP) with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to implement a slum rehabilitation project. This project is an in-situ model where the rehabilitation of the slum dwellers will be in the same locality, and not far away. This move is a much pragmatic one since the previous rehabilitation shifted residents to faraway places where employment opportunity wasn’t available. This compelled the rehabilitate individuals to come back to their previous resident locations in search of jobs and livelihood.

The new project seeks to provide flats to the residents of the slum with modern amenities and facilities. The rehabilitated individuals and families will have the convenience of the attached bathroom two bedrooms, tiled floors. The apartments come with fire security and other such safety measures. These buildings are also seismic zone compliant RCC design and IIT certifies structures.

Raheja brings much innovation to the new projects with amenities such as green parks, open-air theatres for performances and events, exhibition spaces and much more. Since the Kathputli colony is host to various artists and performers, these amenities perfectly fit the relevancy of the culture.
